This week in 5th and 6th Class we were learning about the European Union (EU). There are 27 member states in the European Union and luckily, there are 27 students in 5th and 6th class so everybody got a Country from the European Union. We each had to fill out information about the Countries in the European Union. We learned the Capital, Currency, Languages, Population, Rivers, Mountains and famous Landmarks of each of the countries.

Here are the European Countries and their Capitals:

  • Ireland (Dublin)
  • France (Paris)
  • Germany (Berlin)
  • Spain (Madrid)
  • Portugal (Lisbon)
  • Italy (Rome)
  • Poland (Warsaw)
  • Sweden (Stockholm)
  • Finland (Helsinki)
  • Netherlands (Amsterdam)
  • Czech Republic (Prague)
  • Romania (Bucharest)
  • Greece (Athens)
