Boys from 4th Class to 6th Class took part in the FAI Soccer Blitz in Tullamore. Two teams represented the school on the day, they won, drew and lost some matches and really enjoyed the day.
Congratulations to all who represented the school in the Cumann na mBunscol final in St. Brendan’s Park on Wednesday 13th. It was a very close final between Killeen and Kinnitty/Roscomroe but Killeen were victorious in the end. It was a very exciting match and the huge support received gave the players great encouragement in the closing minutes.
Thanks to our coaches and mentors and to all parents who travelled to matches and help out with lifts during the year.
As always the book fair was a great success. Thanks to the support of all pupils and parents the school received books to the value of €575.
The annual sixth class retreat took place last Wednesday in The Monastery Roscrea, as usual this was an enjoyable day for all.
